Listings & Businesses
Viewing listings and business profiles
There are two types of pages you'll spend time on: the special's listing page and the business profile page. Here's what each one gives you.
Special listing page
Reached by clicking a special from the sidebar or a business profile. The URL looks like /listing/[id].
The deal itself
- Title and full description of the special (may include formatted text)
- Dollar-off value displayed prominently
- Tags that categorize the deal (e.g., Happy Hour, Drink, Food)
Schedule
- Recurring specials — shows the pattern in plain English (e.g., “Every Friday, 5 PM – 7 PM”)
- One-time events — shows the exact date and time range
Who's going
The attendance carousel shows avatars of users who have marked “I'm Going.” If any of your friends are attending, their avatars appear at the front. You'll also see a count of how many people have expressed interest.
Add to Calendar
Adds the special to your personal calendar inside the app and can export to Google Calendar or any iCalendar-compatible app.
Share or copy link
Use Share when your device supports native sharing, or Copy link to send a direct link to the special.
Community photos
A photo gallery of images uploaded by the community. You can add your own once you're signed in.
Comments
A threaded comment section where anyone with an account can share thoughts, tips, or updates about the special.
Business profile page
Reached by clicking a business name anywhere in the app, or directly from the map sidebar. The URL looks like /business/[id].
Business header
- Name, logo, and full address
- A Verified badge if the business has claimed and verified their profile
- Phone number and website link
- Social media links (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and more)
- Active specials count
Operating hours
The full week schedule with an indicator showing whether the business is currently open or closed. Temporary closure notes appear here if the owner has entered them.
Active specials
Cards for every special currently running at this business. Each card shows the title, description, schedule, tags, and dollar-off value. Click any card to open its full listing page.
Make a Reservation
If the business has a reservation link (such as OpenTable), a prominent button links you directly to their booking page.
Community photos
Photos uploaded by visitors, organized by category: General, Food, Exterior, Interior, and Menu. You can contribute your own.
Share or copy link
Business profiles also include sharing controls near the page title so you can send a place to friends or save the link for later.
Community actions on a business page
These features let the community keep business information accurate and up-to-date.
Suggest a Special
See a deal that isn't listed yet? Click Suggest a Special to submit it. Your suggestion goes to the business owner or admin for review.
Suggest an Edit
If the hours, phone number, or website are wrong, click Suggest an Edit and fill in what you know. Other users can upvote your suggestion. Once it gathers enough support it may be applied to the listing.
Upload a Photo
Share your experience by uploading a photo. Photos are reviewed before appearing publicly.
Verify Your Visit
Upload a receipt to verify that you visited the business. This earns you contribution points and helps the community trust your reviews and suggestions.
